Terlynn Olds, MS

Terlynn “Chanita” Olds, M.S. is a distinguished collegiate athletics leader with over 20 years of experience in coaching and athletic administration across NCAA Divisions I, II, and III. Most recently appointed Associate Athletics Director for Facilities and Operations at Washington & Lee University, Terlynn brings a strategic mindset and deep commitment to student-athlete development. Previously, she served as Vice President for Athletics and Recreation at LaGrange College, overseeing 17 NCAA Division III programs. Her earlier leadership roles include Deputy Director of Athletics and Business Manager at Grambling State University, Senior Associate Athletic Director at Chicago State University, and Director of Athletics at Chatham University and Spelman College. She also built a 15-year coaching career in basketball, including head coaching positions at her alma mater Saint Leo University and Spelman College. A standout athlete herself, Terlynn earned a B.A. in Sport Business, an M.S. in Sports Coaching, and an M.S. in Criminal Justice from Saint Leo University. A team captain and record-setting basketball player, she was inducted into the Saint Leo Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024. Terlynn is currently pursuing a doctorate in Sports Leadership, with expertise in athletics operations, facilities management, compliance, budget oversight, and inclusive leadership. She is renowned for revitalizing athletic departments, championing student-athlete welfare, and fostering operational excellence—continuing to make a powerful impact in collegiate sports administration.
